A novel method for generating continuously surfable waves

The Australian Maritime College, in collaboration with Liquid Time Pools Pty Ltd and Delft University of Technology (TUDelft), Netherlands, was recently awarded a three year research grant by the Australian Research Council to develop a novel method for generating continuously surfable waves.

Possibility of dangerous waves, strong ocean currents and foreshore flooding throughout the day from 07:45 am (EDT) Sunday.

Tsunami waves are more powerful than the same size beach waves, with the first
wave not always the largest. First tsunami effects are expected as follows:

Maria Is after 07:45 am (EST) Sunday
St Helens after 07:45 am (EDT) Sunday
Southport Jetty after 08:00 am (EST) Sunday
Babel Island after 08:15 am (EDT) Sunday
Hobart after 08:15 am (EDT) Sunday
