TASSIE BANDS BATTLE FOR SLOT IN 2007 FALLS LINEUP AT MARION BAY

Ten Tasmanian bands recently thrashed it out in the Falls 2007 “Playoffs” to see who would have a chance to play this year at Marion Bay.

The talent level was inspiring and, even though there were only five slots up for grabs, all the Tasmanian musicians made our island state proud.

The following four acts were announced as winners by the Falls Festival staff across two “playoff” events in both Hobart and Launceston.

§ The No No’s
§ Adam Cousens
§ Nathan Wheldon & the Two Timers
§ Dirty Harry & the Rockets

One “wildcard” spot has yet to be officially announced.
