Anyone got a creek boat that is good for beginners that can also be used in the surf - that you would be willing to part with ?

Hey Madeleine, I have the perfect boat for you!

It’s a Bliss-Stick Scud, a short and aggressive creek boat with a playboat hull (same hull as the RAD 185), so it creeks AND surfs like no other boat can do.  It’s a year and half old but still quite new, as I have a Mystic creeker as well. It’s yellow, and has a small dent (about 2mm, plastic is fine) near the nose.
I’m asking $900 for it and I’m in Hobart. Give me a call 0400 147 069.

Cheers, Andrew

If your looking for a boat to creek in, and play in the surf, then the Scud would be the go. It is one of the only creek boats that has a planing hull (flat, good for surfing, and carving). Most creekboats have a displacement hull (rounded), better if your going to be landing flat off big drops. Their short, and really easy to handle as well. The scud would be ideal.
