Here I have forsale a 1979 Ford Escort Panelvan!!! I have had this car for around 6 months and have had zero trouble. The car came from Cairns and I have re-registered it and it passed the pits with ease. Mechanically the car is fantastic and it only requires a wheel bearing in the back right wheel!!! Engine is solid and is a standard 2.0 with a Sports Air Cleaner and extractors. I have tinted the windows black (legal) and have also removed the roof racks and changed the headlights to round. Also purchased and fitted a SAAS Sports Steering Wheel and Gear Knob.
The body is very straight apart from the back right wheel arch which has a slight ding which has been roughly patched by the previous owner. Rust is very minimal and what is there is surface only. The paint is slightly dull and is by no means perfect. This is a very solid, honest and enjoyable vehicle and whoever the future buyer is will not be disappointed. Very good project which can be driven straight away!!!
Car is still registered and road worthy and comes with many receipts. I bought the car to use for work but I have out grown the car faster than first anticipated and I have since bought a new ute!!! Hence the car must go!!!
