8.5ft Fibreglass “Split Dinghy”.
This boat is unique in design as it splits and stores easily, and can be transported in the boot of your stationwagon or 4WD. It can also be transported in a box trailer with no problems. We have been using a 3hp outboard motor which gets the boat up on a plane easily, however the boat wont be sold with the motor. It will handle up to a 6hp motor.
It easily carries 2 adults (we have had 4 in it before, but in smooth water) Would be great for dad and the kids for a spot of fishing, or also make an ideal tender.
Very stable, easy to assemble and is great fun. We have been using the boat at Midway Point, out in Fredrick Henry Bay and up the East Coast off Bicheno, it handles chop and swell really well for its size. Comes with 2 life jackets, anchor and oars. Boat has 2 rod holders fitted, 2 stow away areas and 3 seats. $990 ONO.
