View example photo in the following post - including shot of Xavier Rudd taken at the Falls Festival 2004 plus 500px X 500px 100% crop. Note that, as one should with all DSLR images, standard USM sharpening (1px at 150%) has been applied to the example shot (and crop). ISO was set at 200 and NO noise reduction has been applied. Standard noise reduction tools would make the already “pleasing” grain even more silky smooth - even while doing this kind of “pixel peeping”. (Note this image was shot RAW and developed for a tritone effect - RAW gives you great flexibility.)
Feel and build quality is far more professional than the entry level Canon DSLR’s available today. (350D , 400D, etc). If you have a limited budget but still want a more “pro-camera” exerience this is a great option to get out there photographing your world.
