New club and rescue boat for Scamander

The newly-established Scamander Surf Life Saving Club, on Tasmania’s northeast coast, has been presented with a new $16,000 rescue boat.

The new equipment is part of a sponsorship deal with a major bank and is intended to increase safety at regional beaches.
