Even though there were not many tas surfers in the finals. There were quite a few ripping at this comp. With a little more comp savvy and a bit more luck on their side a few more will be featuring in finals. Guys like Tom Clark, Howard Groves, Tom Gray, Josh Overgaauw have really improved this winter and will be going hard to catch the mainlanders. In the younger age group Luke Thomas , Jake Fasnacht, Iona Renwick and Kelly Nordstrom are all starting to develop so roll on 2009

At the south Aus gromsearch The tassie crew did well again. Hamish renwick won the under 14 boys, Tom gray from the east coast came equal 5th and Iona renwick surfing up a division in the under 14 girls came 2nd. They are now off to WA to warm up for the National Titles( tom and Ham). They will catch up with Zoe and Zak Grey on Monday and the rest of the Tas team on Friday. Good luck to them.

Tassie dominance over those Crow eaters! Great stuff. Well done Iona! Will this encourage you to make a few more dawnies? You got talent, but you gotta work at it too!

Yooop! Nice work Ham! I had a good feeling that you’d smash a few of them. Great to see your results beginning to reflect your dedication and practice!
